Presentation:

Sawsen Ayari is microfinance consultant for PlaNet Finance UAE, based in Dubai. She is currently Project Director of a 2-year “Microfinance and Women” project in Egypt and Syria financed by the European Commission and she also works as microfinance consultant in Sudan and Oman.



Before joining PlaNet Finance, she was successively Head of Mission for the implementation of a Museum for Workers Memory in Paris (2003). In 2005, she co-wrote a report for the United Nations and the French Red Cross on the Impact of the Oil For Food Program in Iraq. In 2005-2006, she was a student-researcher for the Defense Representation of the French Embassy in Syria.



Sawsen Ayari has a Master degree in International Affairs, specialized in Conflicts and Security with a Minor in Development from the Institute of Political Studies in Paris (Sciences-Po). She also holds a Unit Degree in Economic Intelligence from the CNAM (Centre National des Arts et Métiers).
